Privacy

How Classora handles information. Last updated 28 October 2026.

The short version

  • Classora has no accounts, no ads and no tracking scripts.
  • Your lessons are saved on your own device, not on our server.
  • Classora does not set cookies.

What stays on your device

The whiteboard saves your lessons, pens and settings in your browser's local storage. We cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them, so use Save lesson to keep a backup file. PDFs and pictures you add are opened on your device and are not uploaded anywhere by Classora. Recordings and exported files are created on your device.

Microphone and screen

Classora asks your browser for access to your microphone or screen only when you press Record or Record screen. You can refuse or stop at any time in your browser.

Fonts, libraries and offline use

Classora includes the tools it needs. When you export a PDF or import a PDF on a very old setup, it may load a standard library from a public content network.

This website

The Classora website is delivered by a web hosting company. Like most web servers, it may keep ordinary access logs, such as the time and the visitor's network address.

Students and children

If you share a recording or a PDF that shows student names or pictures, you are responsible for having the right permission from parents, guardians or your school.
